Position Overview

As our Benefits and Stock Specialist, you will manage and enhance our employee benefits programs, including health plans and equity compensation. Your ability to clearly communicate complex benefit information and provide top-notch support will directly contribute to employee satisfaction and retention.

What You'll Do:

  • Administer and manage company-wide benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability plans, and retirement programs.
  • Manage employee stock option plans and equity compensation processes, including granting, tracking, vesting schedules, and employee communications.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all benefits and equity-related inquiries, providing timely, accurate, and thoughtful responses to employees.
  • Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of benefits and stock plan data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment processes, including developing employee communication strategies and educational materials.
  • Collaborate closely with payroll and Finance teams to ensure seamless administration and compliance with relevant laws and policies.
  • Support strategic projects such as benefits benchmarking, vendor evaluations, and implementing innovative wellness and benefits programs.

Qualifications We’re Looking For:

  • Approximately 3+ years of direct experience managing employee benefits and/or equity administration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related discipline preferred.
  • Experience administering stock option plans, equity compensation, and familiarity with stock administration software/platforms is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated expertise with employee benefits plans, regulations (ERISA, ACA), and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively explain complex information in an approachable way.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and HRIS/benefits administration systems.
  • Prior experience in a publicly traded company or fast-growing organization is preferred but not required.
