Position Summary:

The Solar Energy/Utilities Coordinator makes it possible for our customers to complete their solar journey and have their solar system energized. They are responsible for filling out various applications on each customer's behalf to submit to their respective utility companies. In this process, they may reach out to the customer through calls, texts, and emails for signature or to verify their utility bill. They also work with each utility company to ensure the customer's application is approved and their new utility meter is installed.

Essential Duties:

  • Answer inbound calls to assist customers in their solar process
  • Fill out applications each day with different utility companies on each customer’s behalf
  • Make customer calls to verify information or obtain their signature on applications
  • Work with sales representatives to verify the customer's utility bill
  • Research applications or requirements when new markets are opened

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Strong time management
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills  
  • High attention to detail
  • Willingness to collaborate with other departments and build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders in solving issues

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Regular periods of sitting or standing may be required by this position. In addition, this position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
